Physicians enjoy a balanced schedule and a well-structured support system.Essential Position ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient primary care for adult and/or family patient populationsPerform annual physicals, wellness exams, and preventive care screeningsDiagnose and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma, etc.Treat acute illnesses and minor injuriesOrder, review, and interpret diagnostic testingDevelop individualized treatment plans and ensure proper follow-upDocument all patient encounters accurately in the EHRCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, MAs, and specialistsParticipate in quality improvement, population health, and clinic initiativesEnsure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standardsQualificationsEducationM.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineFresh graduates encouraged to applyLicensure & CertificationEligible for an Alabama Medical LicenseBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineCurrent BLS (ACLS helpful but not required)ExperienceNo prior practicing experience required — full support and onboarding providedExperience with outpatient primary care preferred but not mandatorySkillsStrong diagnostic and clinical assessment abilitiesExcellent communication and patient engagement skillsTeam-oriented approach with a commitment to quality careComfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient settingProficient with EMR documentationCompensation and EnvironmentCompetitive base salary + performance incentivesComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement)Paid malpractice insuranceCME stipend and dedicated CME timePaid time off + paid holidaysSupportive outpatient environment with strong clinical and administrative staffModern facility with efficient workflows and resources for new physicians
