Duties and Responsibilities: Negotiate and document complex commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures. Draft and review purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and development agreements. Conduct due diligence and manage closings for a wide range of property types. Advise clients on structuring, risk allocation, and ongoing real estate matters in the DC metro region. Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates): JD and active bar admission in MD, DC, or VA. 4–8+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience with strong drafting and negotiation skills. Experience with financing, leasing, or development work is a plus.
