Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with stable, low-acuity adults who present a range of mental health needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• A fully active and unrestricted license to practice independently in the state of Florida, as either a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A record clear of any disciplinary actions, with no limited or provisional licenses.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with a sympathetic and empathetic approach to client care.

• Proficient computer literacy to effectively navigate teletherapy systems and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

We highly value applicants with prior telehealth experience, as well as those familiar with evidence-based treatment modalities. Experience in managing caseloads effectively and a history of providing mental health services to a diverse range of clients will be considered advantageous.

VITAS Mental and Wellness Center offers a competitive compensation package that includes a sign-on bonus for new hire therapists, weekly direct deposits, and a salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000, which is contingent on your working hours and caseload. Full-time therapists are also eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend to support your well-being.
