Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $20.30 - $21.30 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 08:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 08:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 08:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related issues. Monitor access points, observe campus activity, and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies and/or post instructions. Support campus operations by assisting with directions, reporting maintenance or environmental concerns, and coordinating with school representatives and/or first responders when needed. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
