Sales & Service Manager - The Shops at Crystals

Overview Alo's Sales & Service Manager is a key member of the store leadership team, responsible for translating ALO’s business and guest experience strategy into action on the sales floor. The role focuses on driving sales performance, creating an exceptional guest experience, coaching and developing the Sales & Service team, and ensuring daily operations are clean, safe, and efficient. Responsibilities Investigate and root cause sales opportunities, partnering with the General Manager to address process and system gaps. Oversee the Sales & Service team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, assessing levels of guest connection and technical product knowledge and supporting team members through coaching and feedback. Build and maintain client relationships with customers on a daily basis. Develop workforce solutions and lead sales initiatives to maintain effective floor coverage. Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute the store’s Sales & Service strategy. Represent the business in meetings and conference calls in partnership with the General Manager. Monitor budget, reporting, and other business data, including metrics such as expenses and sell‑through, and inform quarterly business reviews and sales planning. Protect optimal performance through future‑planning workflows and business‑needs assessments. Ensure the Sales, Service, and Community teams embody ALO’s mission and guiding principles in all guest interactions. Lead the team through accountability, regular coaching, talent development, and effective communication across Operations and Visual teams. Establish internal and external pipelines through succession planning and recruitment strategy. Create schedules that prioritize the best business strategy in partnership with the General Manager or Store Manager. Qualifications 3–5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Agile and able to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment. Independent work ethic with strong time‑management and personal accountability. Constant physical movement within the store, including lifting, pushing, carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and standing for an entire shift. Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles. Work Schedule & Hours All full‑time employees are expected to work opening, closing, and weekend shifts, and to be available during the company’s blackout period from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the first week of January.
