[Responsibilities]

- Analyze complex business issues, recommend solutions, and define requirements to guide application development and business process improvements.
- Lead creation of use cases, user stories, business process flows, and data flows to inform and drive successful implementations.
- Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to scope epics and features, ensuring cross-team impacts and dependencies are identified early.
- Drive continuous application reliability improvements, minimize risk, and support infrastructure enhancement initiatives.
- Facilitate backlog refinement, maintain evergreen documentation, and communicate backlog/user story status with stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and help remediate compliance vulnerabilities in collaboration with IT and business teams.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, contributing to a culture of collaboration and high performance.

[Required Skills and Experience]

- 5+ years of experience in business analysis for product and/or software development.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated ability to elicit requirements and produce functional specifications, user stories, and related artifacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building productive relationships across teams.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience working in agile or iterative delivery models with detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Proven adaptability and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

[Preferred Skills]

- Card product and processing experience, ideally within financial services.
- CBAP certification.
- Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for user story and documentation management.
- Knowledge of API integrations, external file transfers, and front-end web application development.
- Familiarity with IT architecture and cloud platforms (a plus, not required).
- Experience supporting audit and compliance activities.
