Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and people-focused Scheduling & Hiring Coordinator to support our recruitment, onboarding, and employee scheduling needs. This position will coordinate the hiring process, communicate with applicants and team members, maintain accurate staffing records, and ensure schedules are properly staffed and up to date.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and enjoys working with people in a fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate the full hiring process, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.

• Conduct initial candidate screenings and assist with the interview and selection process.

• Coordinate new-hire onboarding, including collecting required documents and completing employment paperwork.

• Maintain accurate employee and applicant records.

• Create, update, and manage employee schedules based on staffing needs and availability.

• Fill open shifts and coordinate schedule changes, call-outs, and coverage.

• Communicate regularly with employees regarding schedules, availability, and staffing needs.

• Monitor attendance and scheduling issues and communicate concerns to management.

• Maintain confidentiality of employee and candidate information.

• Assist management with recruiting, staffing, and administrative tasks as needed.

• Provide professional and timely communication to applicants, employees, and management.

• Help ensure staffing levels meet operational needs.

• Previous experience in scheduling, recruiting, staffing, human resources, or administration preferred.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Comfortable using computers, email, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member.

• Previous hiring or employee scheduling experience is a plus.
