Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities, pain levels, and rehabilitation needs, applying evidence-based practices to create personalized treatment plans. Direct and oversee physical therapy assistants to ensure accurate implementation of treatment plans and maintain consistency of care. Administer various therapeutic modalities and treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and use of physical agents, ensuring comprehensive therapeutic interventions. Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting care plans based on changes in their condition while maintaining clear and detailed clinical records. Collaborate with the healthcare team and represent the physical therapy discipline in case conferences, contributing to a holistic approach to patient care. Instruct patients and their families in therapeutic exercises and proper use of supportive devices, aiming to optimize independence and quality of life. Engage in community resource evaluation to enhance rehabilitation opportunities and foster patient independence in their home environments. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patients at Stretch Synaptic Therapy Services, Inc. include individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We work with a broad demographic, from pediatric to geriatric clients, tailoring our approach to meet the specific needs of each age group and condition. Our focus is on enhancing their physical capabilities and overall well-being, ensuring satisfactory and evidence-supported outcomes that resonate beyond their time in therapy. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Doctorate Physical Therapy program (DPT). Valid physical therapy licensure in the state of Florida and current CPR certification. At least one year of relevant experience in physical therapy, preferably in an acute care or outpatient setting. Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families. A commitment to delivering high-quality clinical care and embracing a patient-centered approach. An ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Preferred Experience Experience with a range of therapeutic practices and techniques that contribute to improved patient outcomes. Proficiency in using specialized therapy equipment and documentation systems. A passion for promoting lifelong learning and pursuing ongoing professional development. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
