Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:
- Lead healthcare revenue accounting, including gross revenue, contractual adjustments, denials, allowances, and bad debt reserves
- Manage month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives
- Oversee fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Manage payroll accounting and related reconciliations
- Support annual audits and prepare required documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and finance leadership
Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Required: Healthcare revenue accounting experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
