Benefits 401(k) matching Opportunity for advancement Job Responsibilities Make the initial evaluation visit to Oasis Start of Care (SOC) Regularly re-evaluate the patient’s nursing needs Initiate the plan of care and necessary revisions Provide services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill Initiate appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures Prepare clinical and progress notes, coordinate services, and inform the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient’s condition and needs Counsel the patient and family to meet nursing and related needs Participate in in-service programs, supervise, and teach other nursing personnel Regulatory Requirements Licensed Registered Nurse in California Credentials in specialty areas, i.e., phlebotomy, IV, ET Current BCLS, CPR card One (1) year of acute care nursing or skilled nursing experience Prior experience in home health preferred; new graduates welcome Valid California Driver’s License, current automobile insurance, and reliable automobile Language Skills Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Skills Computer knowledge to work on Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Knowledge of current Federal, State, and Agency regulations on patient home healthcare Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Compassionate Home Health LTD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
