Job Description

Job Summary
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This role monitors patient conditions, administers treatments and medications, operates specialized equipment, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality critical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for critically ill patients.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses.
• Operate and manage critical care equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Critical care or ICU experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
