Regional Operations Director, Cell Therapy, Patient Operations - Northwest

AstraZeneca Cell Therapy division seeks a Regional Operations Director to lead territory operations managers across the Northwest US region. This role oversees clinical and commercial cell therapy expansion, manages regional teams, and ensures site activation and operational excellence across multiple therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Associate Directors of Territory Operations assigned to regional territories
- Develop and implement regional operational plans with activation forecasts across therapeutic areas
- Build relationships with healthcare partners and sites to support clinical and commercial cell therapy goals
- Provide operational and quality subject matter expertise for cell therapy trial and product implementation
- Contribute to standard operating procedures and guidance documents for cell therapy operationalization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business, IT, Life Sciences, or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years in cell therapy programs within pharmaceutical/healthcare environment
- Minimum 5 years in cell therapy leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategies in cell therapy
- Strong change management and complex problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
- Flexibility to support emergent patient cases outside regular business hours
Compensation: $171,622-$257,433 base annual salary
