Sales Account ManagerTalis Group's client specializes in the construction, repair, renovation, and maintenance of waterfront structures, including piers, docks, boat slips, seawalls, bulkheads, and other marine-related projects. They take pride in delivering quality workmanship, dependable service, and long-term value to our customers. They are looking for a personable, motivated, and business-minded Sales Account Manager to help grow business by developing new opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.This is a relationship-focused sales position.Salary: $75 – 85,000 + generous benefits package.Highlighted Duties:Develop new business relationships with manufacturers, power plants, industrial facilities, and other companies operating along the river.Identify new potential opportunities.Build a strong network of industrial customers and key decision makers.Make regular customer visits, conduct follow-up calls, and maintain consistent communication with current and prospective clients.Identify customer needs and coordinate with internal personnel to develop appropriate project proposals and solutions.Maintain accurate customer records, sales leads, and pipeline activity.Represent the company professionally through networking, customer meetings, and industry relationships.Highlighted Requirements:Construction sales experience is required, preferably in commercial, industrial, heavy civil, marine, or related construction services.Demonstrated history of developing, maintaining, and growing long-term customer relationships.Proven ability to generate new business, identify sales opportunities, and develop repeat customers.Strong communication, interpersonal, networking, and follow-up skills.Experience working directly with industrial customers, manufacturers, power plants, facility managers, or similar commercial accounts is highly desirable.Ability to build relationships with decision makers and understand customer business needs.Self-motivated, organized, professional, and comfortable working independently.Willingness to travel locally for customer visits, meetings, and job site visits.Proficiency with standard business software, email, and customer relationship management tools.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.This information is a brief job summary for recruiting purposes only and does not constitute the entire job description, duties, or requirements.
