Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design & Test Engineer to support the design, analysis, troubleshooting, and integration of complex electrical and mixed-signal systems. The role involves hands-on hardware development, test equipment usage, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and support for engineering team leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant engineering experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree)
• Experience with electrical engineering design, including troubleshooting, analysis, and testing
• Hands-on proficiency with electrical design tools such as:
• Altium Designer
• DxDesigner
• Mentor Capital
• Creo Schematic
• Experience using test equipment such as:
• Oscilloscopes
• Digital Multimeters (DMMs)
• Network Analyzers
• Power Meters
• Experience performing schematic capture and interpreting electrical schematics

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM (ABET accreditation preferred but not required)
• Experience providing technical leadership within multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Experience in analog, digital, and/or RF design
• Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed-signal, or electrical interconnect systems
• Familiarity with IDEs and debugging tools for software troubleshooting
• Ability to self-manage workload and meet deadlines independently
• Strong teamwork and collaboration experience
• Strong technical writing and formal presentation skills
• Ability to lead single- or multi-discipline engineering teams
• Project management experience
• Experience supporting bids and proposals (BOEs, SOWs, etc.)
• Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques
• Experience developing or utilizing programming languages for hardware testing or automation
• Ability to adapt existing designs to support new Units Under Test (UUTs)
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities
