The Phoenix VA Health Care System is currently seeking skilled Psychiatrists for positions at our medical center and outpatient clinics. This is a unique opportunity to significantly impact the lives of Veterans while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Psychiatrist, you will deliver comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care, utilizing both in-person and telepsychiatry methods. Your primary duties will include:
- Providing individual psychotherapy
- Conducting crisis interventions
- Administering psycho-pharmacotherapy
- Engaging in consultation and liaison activities
- Educating patients about their conditions
You will operate in a secure and respectful environment, prioritizing the least restrictive approaches to promote patient well-being.
