The practice operates primarily in an office-based setting connected to the hospital, with access to an 8-bed ICU and 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit supported by a collaborative team of internists and family practice physicians.

Opportunity:
Physician – Internal Medicine

Job Details:

• Join an established team of one internist and six family practice physicians in a thriving lakefront community
• Primarily office-based practice in space directly connected to the hospital
• Option to follow and treat admitted patients or refer them to a Hospitalist with post-discharge follow-up
• Anticipated weekly work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, plus call rotation
• Back-up call is by phone only and filtered through ARNP or PA support
• Anticipated patient volume of 15-22 office patients per day
• Provide Internal Medicine support to Hospitalist covering an 8-bed ICU and 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit
• Average daily census: ICU = 4 patients; Medical/Surgical = 15 patients
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine required
• NHSC Loan Repayment Site eligibility available
