Financial Analyst

PsychPlus is a rapidly growing behavioral health organization focused on expanding access to high-quality mental healthcare. We are looking for a highly analytical Finance professional who wants to build a career in healthcare financial operations and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). About the Role We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team and develop expertise in Revenue Cycle Management . This is a full-time opportunity designed for a recently graduated Master's-level Finance professional who has strong financial and analytical fundamentals and is interested in learning the healthcare RCM environment. Please note: This is an RCM-focused position. You will receive hands-on exposure and training across healthcare revenue cycle operations, including billing, claims, denials, accounts receivable, collections, reimbursement, and RCM performance reporting. For the right candidate who demonstrates strong performance, ownership, and the ability to quickly learn RCM, this role can provide a fast-track path toward an RCM Operations Manager position. Key Responsibilities Analyze RCM and financial data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Support reporting and analysis of billing, claims, denials, AR, collections, and reimbursement. Monitor RCM KPIs and help identify opportunities to improve revenue performance. Prepare financial and operational reports for leadership. Assist with reconciliation and validation of revenue cycle data. Partner with Finance, Billing, Operations, and other teams to resolve issues. Identify workflow inefficiencies and support process improvement initiatives. Learn healthcare payer processes, billing workflows, and revenue cycle best practices. Support RCM projects and initiatives as the department grows. Take increasing ownership of RCM operations as knowledge and experience develop. Qualifications Master’s degree in Finance is required. Degree must be completed ; candidates currently pursuing their Master's degree will not be considered. Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills. Strong Excel and data analysis skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to learn quickly and take ownership. Genuine interest in building a career in Healthcare RCM and Revenue Operations . Prior healthcare or RCM experience is a plus, but not required . Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment. This role is designed for someone who wants to learn RCM, take ownership, and grow quickly. You will start as a Financial Analyst while developing hands‑on expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations. As you demonstrate proficiency, leadership, and ownership, there is an opportunity to progress into an RCM Operations Manager role within a relatively short period. Who We're Looking For We are not looking for someone who simply wants a traditional Financial Analyst position. We are looking for a Finance professional who wants to learn Revenue Cycle Management, understand how healthcare organizations generate and collect revenue, and eventually take ownership of RCM operations.
