Remote Office Manager

Overview The Houston Aphasia Recovery Center (HARC) is seeking a dedicated individual to take on a pivotal role in our organisation. This position is essential for ensuring smooth and efficient office operations, supporting our mission to aid individuals affected by aphasia. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day office activities and ensure a professional environment. Coordinate schedules, meetings, and events for staff and clients. Oversee office supplies and inventory management. Handle correspondence and communication with stakeholders. Support financial administration, including budgeting and expense tracking. Assist in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures. Provide administrative support to the leadership team as required. Requirements Proven experience in office management or a similar role. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Nice to have Experience in a non-profit or healthcare setting. Knowledge of aphasia and related communication disorders. Familiarity with basic financial management.
