Job Overview Prime Staffing is seeking a local contract PET/CT Technologist for a contract position in New York, New York. Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 35 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract The PET/CT Technologist will work in a collaborative environment to provide superior patient care. The PET tech will perform all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving PET images, and will be responsible for the care of the patient while in the PET area. Responsibilities Perform PET studies and general radiological procedures according to practice standards Review imaging requests for appropriateness based on clinical information provided. Review all questionable orders with the radiologist and, at the radiologist's discretion, the referring physician.
