As a Front Desk Officer at a utilities location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide professional communication and customer service. You will help maintain a secure, organized environment while supporting daily operations through attentive presence and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour Weekly Pay Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur12:30 AM - 07:30 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at a utility location. Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs. Monitor entry activity, receive and route calls, manage deliveries, and communicate facility access concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Complete required reports and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and procedural concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
