As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and communicating professionally with residents, guests, and vendors. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, document activity, and support a positive community experience. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with community procedures. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Maintain accurate incident reports, access logs, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with residents and community staff. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
