Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for guiding the health account and organization through development of repeatable processes for complex technical reviews during pursuits, architectural reviews for ongoing programs, new project intakes to guide teams towards consistent technical approaches, and application of architectural frameworks to address requirements and mitigate risk factors. Help to create examples of artifacts, such as tradeoffs documentation, technical designs, Feature Risk Matrices, and other supporting material for the Technical and Architecture reviews. Maintain responsibility for guiding the organization through complex technical challenges, ensuring the alignment of strategy, business objectives and technical requirements while leading a team of indirect reports in conducting thorough reviews and assessments of technology and architectures. Lead the Technology and Architecture Review Team in the evaluation and analysis of current and future technology solutions. Develop the processes and sample artifacts for technical and architecture reviews of complex projects, involving hybrid, cloud and data integration. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Cloud capabilities from Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure services including IaaS, SaaS and PaaS models to guide architectural decisions. Facilitate architectural reviews, risk assessments, and provide mitigation strategies. Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies to stakeholder groups. Mentor and develop team members with a focus on building a high-performing, collaborative and inclusive team. Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes to ensure the firm maintains a technological edge.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in a software architecture role
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership position
• Knowledge of process improvement and high-performance team coaching
• Knowledge of cloud technology and capabilities across AWS and Microsoft Azure IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS
• Ability to manage, coach, and lead a team of technical professionals
• Bachelor's degree in a technology or engineering field
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing complex solutions on Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure platform services
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, networking, or security such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $118,000.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
