About the Role:
 
The Export Clerk will be responsible for handling A–Z export operations , ensuring shipments move efficiently, compliantly, and on schedule. This includes coordinating with shippers, carriers, agents, and internal teams while maintaining accurate documentation and communication throughout the process

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle air and ocean export shipments from booking through final delivery 
• Coordinate with clients, overseas agents, carriers, truckers, and warehouses 
• Prepare and process all export documentation (HBL/MBL, AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, AES filings, etc.) 
• Ensure compliance with all U.S. export regulations and international requirements 
• Track shipments and provide proactive updates to clients and partners 
• Handle routing, scheduling, and rate application based on customer needs 
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies 
• Maintain accurate records and update systems in real-time 
• Provide high-level customer service aligned with Fleischer’s standards 

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in air export and/or ocean export 
• Strong working knowledge of CargoWise 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and general office systems 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
• Min. 1 year of higher education
