Remote Support Technician

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Remote Support Technician to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software, primarily through remote channels. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully onsite position.
Job Duties

• Provide remote technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications.
• Document support requests, solutions, and procedures accurately in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and best practices.
• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of support tickets to meet service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a remote technical support or help desk role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with common software applications and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
