Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health status.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, employing evidence-based methodologies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using culturally responsive approaches, helping clients navigate issues like anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide appropriate referrals to additional healthcare providers, including psychiatrists or specialized therapists, as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, providing support to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your caseload may include patients dealing with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, relationship difficulties, and other psychological conditions. You will be expected to employ a culturally competent approach, respecting and addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R within the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, particularly those appropriate for individual and group therapy.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
