Senior QA Tester

Software Test EngineerPay Range: $47hr - $51hrThe Software Test Engineer is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining software test plans, scenarios, scripts, and programs to ensure software products meet quality standards. This role includes identifying software problems and root causes, testing system modifications, documenting defects, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with software engineers and product owners to maintain overall software quality.Responsibilities:Develop, modify, and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts for software and applications.Document software defects using bug tracking systems and report issues to engineers and product owners.Review software design and support overall quality assurance efforts.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testing staff and project teams.Ensure accurate and thorough test execution and reporting within specified schedules.Collaborate with development teams to debug and modify software based on test results.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of Microsoft Office products or equivalent.Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of software problems.Qualification And Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science.In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is acceptable.
