Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and customer interactions. Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or property-related issues.
• Monitor access points, common areas, and/or vacant spaces to help support authorized entry, visitor assistance, and adherence to location rules and building procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or patrol findings, and communicate professionally with tenants, guests, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
