What’s the job? As Housekeeping Manager, you’ll keep all aspects of housekeeping and laundry running smoothly - and ensure high standards are met to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure brand standards are met 
• Direct the team and follow up to make sure no guest leaves unhappy
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department
• Inspect all cleaned rooms daily to brand standards
• Recommend disciplinary or other staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies
• Alert management of potentially serious issues
• Ensure all staff are properly trained and compliant 
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests
• Inventory and scheduling 
• Conduct pre-shift meeting and review all information pertinent to the day’s activities
• May assist with other duties as assigned
• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
• Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility

Requirements:

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:  $18–$20/hour ($37,000–$42,000 annually based on full-time schedule)
