Salon Manager – Lead a High-Energy, High-Performing Great Clips Salon

Great Clips is looking for an experienced Salon Manager who knows how to lead a team, manage a busy salon, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

This role is ideal for an established salon leader with at least 2 years of previous salon management experience who understands the pace and efficiency required in a select-service salon specializing in haircutting . We’re looking for someone who can confidently balance leadership, daily operations, team development, and time behind the chair, all while delivering a great experience for every customer.

Earn $20–$35+ per hour (hourly + tips + bonuses)

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team of stylists

• Manage day-to-day salon operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Stay active behind the chair while effectively balancing management responsibilities

• Maintain the speed, quality, and customer experience expected in a select-service haircutting salon

• Drive salon performance, productivity, and team goals

• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and retention

• Create a positive, professional, and energetic salon culture

• Identify challenges quickly and confidently implement solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of previous salon management experience required

• Experience successfully leading a team in a fast-paced salon environment

• Comfortable working in a select-service model focused primarily on haircutting

• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills

• Confident technical skills and willingness to work behind the chair

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping the salon running efficiently

• Organized, dependable, adaptable, and solution-oriented

• Goal-driven with a strong understanding of team performance and accountability

• Passion for developing stylists and creating an environment where people want to work
