NYC General Building Executive

A leading $5bn general contractor is seeking a senior operations leader & construction executive to oversee its entire New York City General Building Division.
This is an executive-level position with responsibility for the overall performance, growth and day-to-day operations of the division. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across multiple projects, overseeing project delivery, operational teams, financial performance and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all operations across the NYC General Building Division.
- Manage senior project leadership teams, including Project Executives, Project Managers and Superintendents.
- Drive project performance, profitability, scheduling and operational efficiency.
- Oversee resource allocation, workforce planning and project execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent standards across safety, quality and project delivery.
- Support business growth, strategic planning and long-term divisional objectives.
Requirements:
- Extensive senior leadership experience within large-scale general building construction.
- Proven experience overseeing multiple major construction projects and operational teams.
- Strong commercial, financial and project delivery expertise.
- Experience managing senior-level construction professionals.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning and client relationship skills.
