Key Qualifications:

• Active Substitute Certificate on DESE.
• Previous experience working in schools, especially with student behavioral support.
• Reliable transportation for commuting between sites.
• Willingness and ability to complete fingerprinting (candidate covers $45 fee) per district requirements.
• Flexibility to transition between locations and student assignments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized educational and behavioral support for assigned students.
• Assist teachers in classroom management, instructional development, and implementation of lesson plans.
• Foster a safe, positive, and engaging environment for all learners.
• Maintain clear communication with educators, administrators, and student support teams.
• Help manage daily routines, reinforce learning objectives, and support student inclusion.
• Participate in required training and professional development workshops.

Role Details:

• Full-time and leave-coverage contract options available.
• Flexible daily hours (varies 7:00am–4:25pm depending on placement).
• Engage at elementary and middle school levels with diverse student populations.
• Supportive oversight with prescreening and a district-led interview process.
• After six months, eligible for direct placement with no transition fee.
