What You’ll Bring:

• Valid substitute certificate (active on DESE)
• Proven experience working in schools, including behavior support
• Willingness to complete district-specific fingerprinting
• Reliable personal transportation for timely arrivals
• Adaptability to shift locations as staffing needs evolve

Your Day-to-Day:

• Work 1:1 or within small groups to assist students with daily classroom activities
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain a positive learning environment
• Provide behavioral support and encouragement aligned with individualized student needs
• Communicate professionally with families, staff, and administration
• Demonstrate flexibility in assignments and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Adhere to all school and district safety protocols

Assignment Options:

• Chapel Hill Elementary (1:1, 9:00am–4:25pm, immediate start through end of October—leave coverage)
• Antioch Middle School (Full school year through late May, 7:00am–2:30pm)
• Ravenwood Elementary (Full school year through late May, 9:00am–4:25pm)

Additional Details:Candidates are responsible for the upfront fingerprinting fee. After six months of successful employment, paraprofessionals have the option to transition directly to the district without fee restrictions.
