We are officially partnered with some of the biggest names and brands in chess, and are looking for passionate and talented experts in their field as we continue to grow.

About The Role:

We are looking for a Creator Partnerships Manager to oversee and onboard chess content creators, creating a diverse portfolio of new organic content while empowering chess content creators to make a living promoting a product they already love. You will help build all aspects of our social media presence to generate content and interest for ChessUp in the Chess media ecosystem, keeping our brand a relevant and recognizable name in the world of chess. You will assist in onboarding Affiliates, growing our creator rewards program, and ensuring new high quality social media content is being added to our channels every day.

We want a hands-on personality, passionate about social media and comfortable in front of a camera who will understand the needs of the business and do what it takes to help us grow. Someone who understands Chess and the Chess world, who is up to date on significant events and ensures we don't miss out on culturally relevant moments.

What You'll Do:

\n
• Manage our roster of chess creators: brief them, review videos, and hold every video to our CPM and engagement targets.
\n
• Grow our Youtube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook short-form catalogue, ensuring multiple videos are posted each day from a variety of creators.
\n
• Own the inbound creator inbox and add at least one new active affiliate every week.
\n
• Manage our Creator Reward Challenge, which pays creators cash based on views. Brief creators, review content, and approve payouts.
\n
• Build a steady supply of rights-cleared UGC for organic and paid use.
\n
• Track revenue, CPM and engagement by creator, and write the playbooks that let the program scale.
\n

You're a fit if you:

\n
• Know, play, and follow chess. This role cannot be filled by someone unfamiliar with the game.
\n
• Have 2+ years of experience managing creators, influencers, affiliates or user generated content.
\n
• Have a proven track record of developing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, advocacy, customer acquisition, ROI, and business results.
\n
• Have proven relationship building, communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
\n
• Have a strong analytical mind, with experience measuring and reporting on performance.
\n
• Negotiate rates and hold partners to terms while remaining diplomatic, without burning bridges.
\n
• Work well on your own in a small, remote, async team.
\n

Bonus Points if you:

• Make short-form video content yourself and have the view counts to show it.
\n
• Are fluent in e-commerce best practices. You know how to ensure creators produce content that also sells the product

• Thrive in a startup environment

This position is being offered remote, with a pay range reflecting this. You will work closely with the Director of Ecommerce to ensure performance metrics and standards are met and to collaborate on road mapping. We are a data driven company, and your performance will be evaluated based on a small number of key data points, which you will be held to weekly.

Salary range per year is between $70,000 - $90,000, and will be determined depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and existing experience.
