Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an enthusiastic Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for an engaging, full-time contract role serving elementary and Head Start students for the 2026–2027 school year. This position focuses on supporting a caseload of approximately 30 students who require speech and language services. The work environment is collaborative and rewarding, blending direct and indirect therapy, assessment, and dynamic teamwork.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Texas SLP License required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Fluent in both Spanish and English—bilingual proficiency required
• Previous experience with school-based settings, particularly elementary-aged students, is preferred
• Strong ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Skilled in developing meaningful IEP goals and providing targeted intervention
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve students across two sites (Elementary and Head Start) in an onsite, full-time (40 hours per week) capacity
• Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students, delivering individualized and group therapy sessions
• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to inform service planning
• Develop and implement IEP goals in compliance with best practices and state requirements
• Partner with special education staff, general education teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and reporting for all services provided
• Maintain an engaging and supportive therapeutic environment for students from diverse backgrounds
