HRIS Associate (Workday)

Job Description

Private equity firm in NYC is hiring a HRIS Associate for their NYC office. This role will report into the Director of Human Capital Systems and support Workday HCM and Greenhouse Recruiting.

This role is onsite 3 days, remote 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Workday:

\n
• Support and advise the Global Human Capital team on Workday HCM processes, troubleshooting, and system functionality.
\n
• Support key annual HR processes, including U.S. benefits open enrollment and the global performance management cycle.
\n
• Partner cross-functionally with Business Technology, Compliance, Finance, and other stakeholders on Workday projects, enhancements, and data requests.
\n
• Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards for audiences ranging from HR teams to senior leadership.
\n
• Monitor and troubleshoot Workday integrations, workflows, and system issues in partnership with internal and external technical resources.
\n
• Administer Workday security roles and groups and conduct regular audits to ensure appropriate access and data integrity.
\n
• Lead system audits, data governance activities, and controls to maintain accurate, secure, and reliable HR data.
\n
• Coordinate Workday releases, including planning and executing tenant-wide regression testing.
\n
• Develop training materials, process documentation, and communications to support effective Workday adoption.
\n
• Identify and implement system and process enhancements that improve efficiency, functionality, and the overall user experience.
\n
• Monitor Workday updates, customer alerts, new functionality, and emerging technologies, including Workday AI, to identify opportunities to enhance Human Capital operations.
\n
• Stay current on HR technology trends and best practices through industry networking and Workday events.
\n
• Support additional Human Capital projects and operational initiatives as needed.

Greenhouse Recruiting:

• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Greenhouse Recruiting globally.
\n
• Provide ongoing support, training, and guidance to recruiting teams
\n
• Lead system planning, testing, and execution to support fast-paced recruiting cycles within a private equity environment.
\n
• Configure and optimize workflows, custom fields, scorecards, integrations, and other Greenhouse functionality.
\n
• Partner strategically with recruiting teams to identify process improvements and implement technology solutions that drive efficiency and business value.
\n
• Serve as a trusted technology partner to global recruiters, aligning business priorities with effective recruiting technology solutions.
\n
• Own the Greenhouse roadmap, evaluating new features and emerging capabilities, including AI-powered recruiting tools.
\n
• Develop reports and dashboards to track key recruiting metrics, assess candidate pipelines, and support data-driven decision-making.
\n
• Ensure Greenhouse configurations and integrations comply with applicable data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
\n
• Stay current on Greenhouse product updates, new functionality, system upgrades, and industry best practices.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 5+ years experience in Workday (HCM, BP configurations, Reporting, Security, Integrations, and EIB loads).
\n
• Greenhouse Recruiting system administration experience.
\n
• Strong understanding of Human Capital operations including recruitment processes and best practices.
\n
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint).
\n
• Experience in data analytics and stakeholder analysis.
