Senior Transportation Project Manager/Office Leader

GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. is seeking a transportation engineering leader to lead projects and teams as we establish a new office in southeastern Massachusetts. Position overview: Lead projects and teams in transportation engineering, focusing on highways and bridges for MassDOT and Massachusetts municipalities. Bring leadership to help grow the office and expand the firm’s geography and services. For more information, visit: Responsibilities: Plan and manage all aspects of project development for transportation-related projects, including deliverables, project schedules, and budgets. Independently coordinate the work of engineers and balance the project delivery team throughout the entire project’s development. Establish client relations and be involved with marketing and proposal development, contractual matters, design, and internal and external meetings. Serve in the role of Office Leader, overseeing daily operations/functions of the office. Engage with industry organizations in MA. Proficiency and experience using software applications (e.g., Civil 3D) with minimal to no guidance. Qualifications: 10+ years of related experience Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering PE licensure in MA Experience with MassDOT Experience with Massachusetts municipalities Knowledge of AASHTO and state DOT Standard Specifications Quality control, quality assurance, and project management experience Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent organizational skills Positive attitude and good work ethic with a collaborative mindset Benefits and EEO GPI offers benefits including a 401(k) plan, ESOP, medical/dental/vision plans, paid time off, and more.
