Assistant Controller

A growing organization within the construction industry is seeking a Controller to take ownership of accounting and financial operations for a regional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager with construction accounting experience who is ready to step into a broader role with increased ownership and visibility. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger activity Lead the month-end close process and support year-end reporting Manage WIP reporting, job costing, and AIA billing Monitor project costs, billings, and financial activity Prepare accurate financial reporting for senior leadership Maintain accounting processes, controls, and documentation Partner with operational teams on project-related accounting and financial matters Support continued growth and take on additional responsibilities as the organization expands Qualifications Accounting experience within the construction industry Strong understanding of month-end close and general ledger accounting Experience with WIP, job costing, and AIA billing Hands-on AP, AR, and financial reporting experience Ability to independently manage accounting responsibilities and work cross-functionally QuickBooks experience is a plus Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager-level candidates ready to take the next step in their career are encouraged to apply #J-18808-Ljbffr London Approach
