Corporate Development Senior Manager
Intuitive Surgical
Intuitive Surgical seeks a Senior Manager for Corporate Development to lead transaction activities across its da Vinci and Ion business units. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic investments, partnerships, licensing deals, and M&A opportunities aligned with corporate priorities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships, investments, licensing transactions, and M&A opportunities
- Assess external technologies, companies, and market opportunities aligned with strategic priorities and technology roadmap
- Lead or support all transaction phases including sourcing, due diligence, valuation, structuring, and negotiation
- Develop financial analyses, valuation models, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership review
- Manage transaction workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams across finance, legal, and business units
Requirements
- 8+ years professional experience, 5+ in medical device, life sciences, technology, finance, or related industries
- Prior work in corporate development, business development, finance, investing, or strategy
- Experience supporting or executing M&A, strategic investments, licensing, partnerships, or business development transactions
- Strong financial and analytical skills including business case development and valuation modeling
- Ability to manage transaction execution from assessment through negotiation and closing
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and work with multiple stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
