Payroll Coordinator

Payroll Coordinator (Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics Background) Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 + Excellent Benefits, PTO, and Team Environment Bright Minds Industry Leading client is searching for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to own critical pieces of the weekly payroll process for a fast-paced environment in the Cincinnati area. This role is ideal for someone with a true payroll background, strong Excel skills, and experience supporting an hourly workforce, particularly within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or a similar environment. You’ll be a highly visible member of the team responsible for making sure employees are paid accurately, consistently, and on time every week. You’ll process wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, garnishments, and employee changes while managing timekeeping information and maintaining accurate payroll records. You’ll work extensively within the payroll system and Excel, partner closely with HR and Finance, and communicate directly with the payroll vendor when system questions or issues arise. Skills Needed for the Payroll Coordinator: 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing or payroll administration experience Experience processing weekly payroll, ideally for an hourly manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or similar workforce Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred Working knowledge of overtime, bonuses, deductions, garnishments, direct deposit, new hires, terminations, and employee changes Strong Excel fundamentals and comfort working with payroll data, reports, reconciliations, and ADP-to-Excel feeds Experience working with timekeeping systems and employee timesheets Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry, reconciliation, math, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local payroll requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to be a highly employee-facing payroll resource #J-18808-Ljbffr Bright Minds
