Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 within a 10-bed unit where patient census turns over at a higher frequency than a standard Med/Surg floor
• Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients throughout the admission process
• Work independently to assess, plan, and implement care for a diverse patient population
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be verified through Nursys
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a rapid admission or high-turnover Med/Surg environment
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage care independently in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
