Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Services Director to lead, plan, and manage our social services programs. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Plan, organize, and oversee social services programs to meet the needs of residents, families, and the community.

• Policy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Staff Management: Supervise, train, and evaluate social services staff and support personnel.

• Budget Oversight: Prepare and manage departmental budgets and monitor program expenses.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and facility guidelines.

• Community Collaboration: Build partnerships with healthcare providers, agencies, and community organizations.

• Client Advocacy: Address concerns, resolve issues, and advocate for residents and families.

• Reporting: Prepare reports on program outcomes, compliance, and performance metrics.

• Fundraising & Grants: Support grant writing and funding initiatives as needed.

• Direct Services: Provide case management and support in complex situations when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, Public Health, or a related field

• 3+ years of progressive experience in social services or healthcare setting

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of social work practices, regulations, and compliance standards

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care setting

• Proven ability to build strong community partnerships

• Commitment to resident advocacy and quality care
