Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $19.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Job Summary:

This temporary role provides administrative and audit support for a nationwide marketer and distributor of fresh, frozen, and non-food products to foodservice customers, assisting with SOX compliance documentation, evidence collection, and audit testing during a high-volume period. You'll work closely with the Internal Audit team to track requests, maintain workpapers, and keep testing on schedule. Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring for a temporary internal audit support opportunity with a nationwide foodservice distributor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support internal audit and SOX compliance activities.
• Track audit requests, documentation, deadlines, and follow-up items.
• Collect, organize, and review audit evidence for completeness.
• Maintain audit workpapers, testing trackers, and project schedules.
• Use Excel and AuditBoard (or similar systems) to organize, reconcile, and update testing status.

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, compliance, finance, bookkeeping, or a similar detail-oriented role.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, filters).
• Experience supporting internal or external audits, SOX compliance, or accounting functions (preferred).
