Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs

• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized therapeutic recreation programs

• Lead engaging group and one-on-one activities

• Adapt interventions based on residents' abilities and preferences

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team

• Support meaningful engagement for residents living with dementia

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Music Therapy

• Certification preferred

• Experience in dementia care and/or long-term care preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Creative, energetic, and team-oriented

• Availability to work Sundays and holidays
