Key Responsibilities\n

As a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor at Bend Mental Healthcare Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging therapy sessions that foster connection and dialogue among clients. You will create a safe space for participants to share experiences, support one another, and collaboratively learn coping strategies.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions to provide tailored support, helping clients navigate their feelings and develop personalized coping mechanisms.

• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to co-create treatment plans that are goal-oriented and address their unique challenges. In this role, you will ensure that each plan reflects individual preferences and actively track their progress.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize a variety of assessment tools to monitor client progress. You will analyze data and feedback to adapt treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

• Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists to coordinate care effectively. You will share insights on complex cases to ensure comprehensive support for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults, ages 18 to 30, who are struggling with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. At our community health clinic, you will address a diverse set of needs, ensuring that each client receives compassionate and personalized care.

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Connecticut.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
