The San Diego Field Office is looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, critical thinkers with excellent communication skills to join our team! The Compliance Representative (CR) will work under the close supervision of a Supervisor and be assigned an inventory of delinquent Personal Income Tax (PIT) and Business Entity (BE) accounts. The CR will effectively utilize analytical skills to determine the best course of action to resolve each account effectively. As a CR, there are numerous tasks the incumbent will be responsible for completing in order to accomplish this objective, which includes, but is not limited to, the following: Conduct field visits Initiate and respond to phone calls Educate taxpayers Initiate involuntary collection actions Ensure taxpayer rights are protected Negotiate payment arrangements While performing these job duties, the CR will be required to adhere to the rules, laws, procedures, and guidelines directing account processing. If selected for the position, the incumbent may be required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Appointment requires a valid California Driver's License (CDL) and proof of insurance, which must remain current throughout time of employment.
