Work/life balance (1600 billable requirement) Great reputation Little attrition & turnover Responsibilities Client Management and Business Development Maintain and expand a book of business of at least $500k. Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their legal and business needs are consistently met. Drive business development activities including networking, seminars, conferences, and other events. Legal Services Provide comprehensive legal counsel on a wide range of corporate matters, including M&A, governance, securities, regulatory compliance, and others. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigations when necessary. Firm Leadership and Strategy Collaborate with other partners to shape and execute the firm’s strategic objectives. Mentor and guide junior attorneys, offering them insights and support in their professional development. Contribute to the firm's knowledge base through research, publications, and presentations. Operational Excellence Ensure adherence to the highest standards of legal practice and ethics. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. Participate in firm-wide committees and initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement of processes and practices. Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Valid license to practice law in MA. Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate law, with a proven track record as a generalist handling diverse corporate legal matters. Established book of business of at least $500k. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. Strong leadership skills with a commitment to collaborative work.
