Employment Type: Full TimeShift: Evening ShiftDescriptionMust be within a 50 mile radius of Livonia, MIWork shift Monday through Friday 12:30pm – 9:00pmWill work a weekend rotation, one every 6 weeksWill work a holiday rotation, one – two per yearPosition OverviewThe Clinical Intake Coordinator is responsible for gathering necessary information from referral sources, promoting Agency services, and functioning as a clinical resource and customer service representative. Evaluates referrals for client appropriateness for home health services. Two years' home care experience preferred.Knowledge of governmental reimbursement criteria. Knowledge of third party / managed care contracts related to Agency services is preferred.Computer literate.
