Territory Manager, Alternate Care

Job Summary Responsible for the development and execution of the sales plan for an assigned territory, effectively utilizing Masimo resources and positioning Masimo products to meet sales and customer satisfaction objectives for new and existing Alternate Care customers including Physician Offices, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Prehospital, Post‑Acute markets such as Homecare, Long Term Care, and WIC. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and convert new customers to Masimo products and solutions in Alternate Care markets to achieve assigned sales quota, while also developing new market opportunities for Masimo’s Pulse Co‑Oximetry solutions. Generate a sales pipeline and develop key targets for assigned territory to meet or exceed monthly sales quota. Work with Region VP, Clinical Support staff, AVP, Sr. VP of US Alternate Care Sales, and local area team members to ensure growth by adding new customers, closing contracts, and amending current contracts for growth across all Masimo products and solutions; achieve established quarterly and yearly goals. Complete assignments and report on all administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner. Provide as required product and solution training to customers. Train support while ensuring appropriate attention from contracted distribution representatives to convert their customers to Masimo products. Collaborate with Masimo’s extended sales teams to accelerate adoption and opportunities in Alternate Care markets. Sell Masimo Pulse Oximetry and Pulse CO‑Oximetry devices and accessories to Alternate Care in defined territories. Build positive relationships with Masimo’s clinical support group and hospital Account Executives to support Alternate Care business through a Continuum of Care market penetration strategy. Meet or exceed sales objectives in assigned territory through sales of Masimo products and solutions in all channels. Interface with all product managers to stay up to date with all products and new releases. Perform other duties and projects as requested. Minimum Qualifications 3 or more years of successful and documented experience selling medical device solutions to acute care or alternate care markets. Experience calling on alternate care markets including national home care chains, local home care companies, respiratory therapists, nurses, physician offices, ambulatory surgery centers, emergency medical services, and administration. Experience and proven ability to effectively lead productive conference call discussions and develop internal partnerships. Experience in strategic sales planning and execution. Organized and detail‑oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Very strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong PC skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, teamwork‑centric environment. Ability to develop new relationships, successfully manage existing customers, and generate incremental sales. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with management, executives, internal staff, peers, outside sales reps, and customers. Must be able to travel up to 50‑80% of the time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Sales experience with high‑technology healthcare solutions, involving complex sales processes requiring significant differentiation to many decision makers and influencers. Successful sales management experience. Education Bachelor’s degree, clinical credential, or 5+ years of equivalent experience required. Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for variable compensation up to $85,000 at 100% of annual sales objectives. Physical Requirements/Work Environment This position primarily works in a field sales environment, requiring frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other digital devices is required. The candidate may stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in facilities. Must be able to travel in a multi‑state territory, up to 50‑80% of the time, and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
