Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role adapts daily responsibilities based on the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring flexible and responsive support. Essential Responsibilities:
Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM This opportunity is located in a welcoming healthcare setting serving the Midwest region of the United States.
- Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
- Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.
- Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records.
- Observe and communicate any abnormal patient signs or symptoms to the physician, ensuring thorough documentation and patient understanding of discharge instructions.
- Support physicians during testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications.
- Coordinate patient testing, admissions, referrals, and follow-up on test results, keeping patients informed.
- Distribute educational materials and assist patients in understanding treatment plans and medication usage.
- Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
- Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, sterilizing instruments, and verifying equipment functionality.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the healthcare environment.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program is required.
Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM This opportunity is located in a welcoming healthcare setting serving the Midwest region of the United States.
