Desired Qualifications: Current, active LPN license in Virginia Prior experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred Ability and willingness to assist with a variety of student needs, including seizure management, diabetes care, G-tube and trach care, toileting, and diapering Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing assignments or schedules Comfortable riding the bus with students as needed Key Responsibilities: Administer routine and emergency nursing care to students as needed throughout the school day Support students requiring specialized care, such as those with diabetes or seizure disorders Perform G-tube, trach, and other complex medical interventions as trained and required Participate in daily routines including hygiene support (toileting, diapering) Accompany students on the bus to ensure safe transportation, stepping in to provide medical care if necessary Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of care and communication with staff and families Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other school professionals to provide holistic support This contract, full-time opportunity offers approximately 37.5 hours per week, making it ideal for those seeking a consistent work schedule throughout the school year.
